1. Health and Safety Law Poster
- A statutory notice for any business employing one or more people
- Outlines the duties of employers and employees with regards to health and safety
2. No Smoking Signs
- Every entrance to your building must display a no smoking sign
- Every business vehicle that has shared use must display a no smoking symbol
- You can be fined £1000 for non-compliance
3. Fire Exit Signs
- Relevant fire exit signs should be positioned to indicate exit routes
- At least one sign must be visible from any place within your building
- All fire exit signs must include the 'running man' symbol
4. Fire Safety Signs
- This type of sign includes 'Fire door keep shut' and emergency escape route signs.
- Fire action signs must be displayed on designated fire doors (these doors must never be propped open)
- Emergency escape routes should be clearly marked and free of obstructions
5. Risk Warning Signs
- This type of sign includes any 'Caution' signs (such as slippery surface, hot water, dangerous chemicals etc.)
- Risk warning signs must be displayed wherever relevant
