We are implementing more & more green practices within our organisation, from paper & printer consumables recycling to reducing general office waste, using recycled and/or recyclable supplies, reusing packing materials, optimising our delivery van routes, running some of our fleet of vehicles on dual fuel and more.
We are committed to improving our environmental performance & aim to achieve ISO14001 accreditation.
Egan Reid is also closely involved with the local community, employing most of our staff from within the local area, taking part in local business events, supporting local schools & charities, and being one of the main sponsors to League 1’s Stockport County football club.
We now offer a wide range of products with environmental, charitable or diversity benefits – from recycled paper to rechargeable batteries, recyclable files, locally-sourced supplies, Fairtrade coffee, breast cancer charity stationery, and a lot, lot more. All these are clearly highlighted in our catalogues & mailers.
We are also keen to get our customers to take on board some of the many green initiatives that we are proud to champion: using our toner & inkjet cartridge collection & recycling service, ordering online to reduce paperwork & the need for paper catalogues, consolidating orders to cut vehicle carbon emissions & road congestion …
