Egan Reid recently had the pleasure of working with Northwards Housing, a not-for-profit ALMO (arm’s length management organisation) that manages over 13,000 City Council homes across the north of Manchester.
Our design team were approached to revamp the dated and tired looking reception area, as Northward value themselves on putting people first, it was important that we put accessibility and approachability to the forefront of our design.
The bright and spacious reception area now focuses on the made to measure unit, sleek and ready to welcome visitors and clients. The desking area was created fully bespoke by Imperial, with the curved unit being perfect for single person reception greetings and the ability to add privacy filters and additional units if needed in the future.
The mural binds together the ethos of Northwards but also helps to brighten up and modernise the space. All visitors can now enjoy the clean and bright area while also taking advantage of the new beam seating area.
Within all our design and fit-outs it’s important to not only consider the businesses needs of the present day but what our clients could need in the future. With dynamic open spaces and options to expand in the future, we are proud of the welcoming area we were able to create for this hard-working not-for-profit.
