How long have you been with Egan Reid?

I have been in the industry for over 36 years and at Egan Reid for 25 years.

Describe your role in four words.

Sales, procurement, challenging, enjoyable.

What does your typical work day look like?

I look after a loyal customer base I have developed over the years, making sure to keep them updated on all the new products and service we provide. My role requires me to be proactive in bringing new customers to Egan Reid, and I love engaging with them on the phone or knocking on doors.

What have you achieved at Egan Reid that you’re particularly proud of?

I would say that I’m proud of my length of service with the company and even after all these years I still feel I have something to offer as I stay versatile in an ever-changing and challenging environment.

If you were to switch jobs with a colleague for a day, who would it be and why?

I’d switch with Purchasing as I enjoy sourcing products and the challenge of getting better prices.

Outside of work, how do you enjoy spending your time?

I enjoy spending weekends at our caravan in Wales with family and friends, and of course our furry friend Becki, watching live music and eating out.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

An air stewardess.

What’s on your bucket list?

Love travelling- I want to go to Australia to visit family, Hawaii and many other places.

Heard any good tips lately?

Always keep a cheap bottle of white wine in the house, if you ever spill your red you don’t want to be putting a good white on it to clear it up!
