Coffee keeps many of us going through the work day, whether it brings us comfort, energy, or focus. The team at Egan Reid have been discovering and reviewing some of the latest trending products in the office coffee world. Here are our top picks, as tried and tasted by us.

Nescafé® Barista coffee beans

Nescafé, the brand behind some of the best-selling instant coffees, launched two blends of coffee beans in late 2025, answering the growing demand for barista-style coffee in the workplace and the increasing popularity of bean-to-cup coffee machines. Whilst there’s nothing new about coffee beans per se, they have traditionally been associated with professional catering environments, or at home coffee connoisseurs – but why wouldn’t you treat visitors or staff to a perfectly crafted latte or cappuccino?

There’s a choice of versatile, rich and intense espresso blend, or aromatic, full-bodied Signature blend, both in a 1kg re-sealable bag with useful grinding instructions for espresso machine, moka pot, French press, and bean-to-cup machine users. Our Taste Team put the Signature blend to the test, creating impressive cappuccinos. Jo, one of our print specialists, chose to use oat milk, and found the result particularly smooth, adding that the blend would suit a variety of espresso-based drinks, or a simple black coffee. Olivia, Business Development Manager, was very complimentary about the beans, and agreed she’d recommend them to any customers looking for a premium office coffee solution.

Starbucks® premium instant coffee

A familiar high street name already offering a wide range of beans, pods, and milky coffee sachets, you can now get your Starbucks fix in the office with their Premium Instant Medium Roast now available in single serve sachets. It’s a microground soluble coffee, combining the best of both worlds – the convenience of instant coffee, and the superior, richer flavour and aroma of coffee beans – and promising creamy notes of milk chocolate and nuts.

Danielle, one of our Account Managers and a self-confessed coffee lover, prepared her favourite latte with semi-skimmed milk and a sweetener to get her day started: “You can taste the high-quality ingredients for an instant coffee compared to other brands, and I definitely agree with the description of the coffee. The sachet format is also really practical.”

There’s also a cappuccino and a hot chocolate in the Starbucks instant hot drink range we can’t wait to sample!

Iced coffee by Nescafé®

Younger consumers have been driving significant growth in iced coffee consumption in recent years, with many making it a year-round favourite and proving it’s more than a summer cooler. Once again, Nescafé are leading the way and offering both ready-to-drink and make-your-own options.

In a handy 750ml carton, long life format, Nescafé iced latte is sweet, creamy, and ready to pour, so it’s perfect for the workplace: no preparation or fuss involved, just an indulgent refreshment to enjoy with or without ice. The all-new range of Nescafé espresso concentrates, however, comes as a serious game changer … Made with high-quality roasted coffee beans, no artificial flavourings, and vegan-friendly, it’s the ultimate hack, allowing you to get creative and whip up barista-style iced coffees in no time. All you need is cold milk, plant-based alternative,  or water, and ice cubes for something extra cool.

I compared both products. The ready-to-drink iced latte has to get top marks for ease of use, and the balance of milk, coffee and caramel seemed just right. The concentrate is the real winner for me though as you can mix it with any milk (a barista-grade oat milk in my case) and adjust the coffee level to your preference. I definitely will be giving some of the recipes on the Nescafé website a go! Pistachio cream and vanilla iced latte, anyone?

With these latest additions to our range, it's easier than ever to elevate your workplace coffee experience ... and you can take our word for it!
