Hasland Junior School

Hasland Junior School is a popular and vibrant three form entry school on the outskirts of Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

The school’s leadership team were looking to update their Year 6 group room facilities and create a more engaging, inviting and calming learning environment. After initial consultation, our design team developed a detailed Cat A+ refurbishment scheme to meet the client’s brief.

This 6-week project started with a complete strip out of the space, including removing all ceilings, flooring, electrics, kitchen and heating, furniture, and doors. We fitted new easy-clean cap and cove vinyl flooring, suspended ceiling, LED lighting, three sink areas with storage, electrics, and new fire-resistant doors. To finish off the space, our team decorated throughout, installed a striking forest wall graphic, supplied by Egan Reid Print Solutions, and put it all new furniture.
